Cold war is the only good modern cod

I’ve been playing CW since release and find myself eager to buy and play BO6 ! As I get older I’m going to keep doing this and going with a 3-4 year cycle

What’s new. The last cod I actually liked was COD MW2019. The first half of the game in multiplayer was magical and brought everyone back old or new. New engine was cool and ambitious and the campaign was excellent. WarZone was new and saved boredom during covid. I never understood the hate it brought cod back. Yes the second half of the game got worse with bugs and wild decision choices.

Honestly, with how the cod playerbase is, if something is new, there's a minority of people who will use something just because it's new. Most people just stick whichever gun is meta, which in this game is just the MCW, superi, Kar98, rival9. Most of these people don't seem to care what gun they use, as long as it kills the fastest or most consistent.

Doesn't the AC-130 have so much health that it's basically impossible to shoot down unless you get your entire team to shoot rockets at it?

MW3 has the most content in a COD game to date. The playlists may be whacky and out of place but the random shit keeps the game fresh plus the constant events and aftermarket parts every week gives a reason to keep coming back. The only thing wrong with it is the constant lag.

I know, the only thing I've wanted from this game and downloaded it for since its on gamepass is the mw2 maps and I rarely get them. They really need their own playlist.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they already have had AI heavily involved in making a lot of these maps. They look off in a way that I find hard to believe multiple people made and thought was good enough to put out.

I’m late but frangible ammunition is very good for elimination type games like Search and Destroy or Knockout

4:03, thing is i want people in that killzone, just because your unable to win your 1v1s and to keep carrying your streaks doesn't mean everyone should conform to your prefered playstyle

I got an idea bring back the dlc maps from og mw2 and get rid of all the ugly original mw2 maps

I agree with you about playing for streaks, it’s the only way I play anymore. Because playing for streaks is basically impossible on MW3, I just stick to MW2. I don’t feel any obligation to play MW3 and deal with people who’ve mastered it’s cartoonish movement just because it’s the newest CoD

Shipment ruined it for me. I can’t play anything else to unlock shit. I also do enjoy getting 60 to 80 kills and game too.

The colour palette is ass compared to IWs pallettes. MW2(2) had a much better aesthetic.

Bro I hadn’t played cod in about a month because my mom passed away so i wasn’t playing video games at all. I go to log in and my account was completely banned. Someone linked my account to steam and used it for hacks. I had to send activision a ton of emails from steam and proof that it wasn’t me and finally got my account back. I’m so sick of hackers. I play on ps5, don’t own a pc, and don’t use steam and my account still gets compromised. I never set up 2 factor authentication but after this they made me reset all my passwords and linked accounts.

Best thing about mw3 is that its only a few months until its over and we get round based zombies

Hitscan is so bad that i have not bought a single hitscan game since 2017 (and i thought the one i bought in 2017 - day of infamy - was projectile based....otherwise my last hitscan FPS was cod BO1 in 2010). Hitscan is terrible and it's alarming how many people like it.

Complaining as always I swear when mf said they love fun they hate fun like their middle child or something. This is why when people say COD fanbase are hard to please and it's true because people like boom are always complaining about everything that doesn't sit right his taste of COD wanting it being like some kind Arma or squad or even insurgency sandstorm clone when the genre of COD itself is Arcade shooter meaning there's a balance between somewhat realistic and somewhat goofy so having a goofy variant of some map in the game is acceptable and suitable for the genre of COD itself being an arcade shooter. People like you boom are the reason why INFINITY WARD are trying to desperately trying to turning this game into some kind of generic realistic shooters with the slow movement, big maps, and field upgrade so please stop playing COD in general because people like you are what ruining COD.

I think the idea of AMPs is really nice. Special attachments which change a gun almost completely, like a new weapon without having to go through all the usual hoops But I almost DESPISE the look of them. Not to mention some of this stuff was a normal part of weapons four years ago in 2019; the renetti was semi-auto BY DEFAULT, for example And the m16 kit… like, cmon man, it’s an m4 with a carry handle, what did you need to 3d print? And again, in 2019, the M4 HAD a grenadier barrel as a normal attachment, so what’s even the point?????

Being a gun nut horse girl you talked about, I had my compromise with cod logic and tried to ignore all the random ass design decisions with mwiii guns except there are no logic, why does the f2000 have a hollowed out stock that makes the bolt go nowhere, and is harder to model than just a solid one, why did they make an abomination trying to be the an-94 when they could've used the model from mw19, why does all the amps have to be 3d printed, how does a double barrel smg feed from one magazine it's not like things are not fun, but there are just so many things that are straight up unnecessary and ugly at the same time at this point I feel like they are just seeking media coverage and attention by actively adding abominations to the game so the mil-sim and gun nerd crowd shit on it to give it publicity, considering how much of the player base turned down this game from the start

I think the only problem with looping killstreaks is the spam when someone only has UAV on or UAV, Counter, Missile. Make is so looping killstreaks only work if you have a high enough killstreak equipped.

I basically quit all video games as soon as they put jet packs into first person shooters.

Also, why haven't we got new War maps nor new Ground War map? I haven't played for 2 months. Maybe that's a good thing? Sounds like I'm not missing much.

I dropped it like a month and a half in after unlocking the zombie mastery camo. Never touched it again.

sorry but, none of these are solutions. the issue is cod has tried to bracket all shooters so the game has no identity now. so instead of being a good game, it’s a below average experience for everyone because they need to cater to people who like arcade shooters, milsims, tactical shooters, fortnite players, zombies, large scale battlefield like matches, and that’s not even to mention the skill disparities as well as new vs experienced player bases. the game needs to vastly shrink its scope, but this would turn some people away and they’d make less money. unfortunately they are that interested in making a decent game, they are interested in making the most money, and below avg large scope games make more money than good games

Mw3 is the most fun ive had in theze modern CoDs since mw2019. But yeah im tired of it already as well and just waiting for blackops 6

how about wee just matchmake the way we used to do, click the gamemode you want and get a random map. fuck all these limited time playlists

I've been complaining about being unable to play the old maps for a few seasons now, all i do is play the new maps that they've added, i play like 1 old map in 25 games. I bought this cod for the old maps, not to play new maps that i don't like and are very boring to me also, i haven't played the map underpass in like 2 months (not the greatest map, i know)

Same. Especially the ugly maps. Took a break from mw3 a few months ago… I don’t have any urge to go back to it. Actually been playing halo infinite instead lol

I get that not all are in each game mode playlist, but it still is annoying how difficult it is to get certain maps. If you don't count the Vortex and holiday variants, there's been 26 maps added to the 6v6 map pool during this games lifecycle. Yet I could not tell you the last time I've played a non-infected game on maps like Quarry, Derail, Wasteland or Underpass. Most of my recent matches on Highrise and Estate only came from the mutation mode as well. 42 maps and I still only play on 4-5 consistently

Since last update when game got free on gamepass game is full of cheaters because when they play through gamepass the game puts them as xbox players.

MWIII lost my attention before release when they butchered new guns, specifically AMR-9, nerfed gunplay to a lackluster state like in Vanguard, made movement exaggeratedly fast and downgraded grapics to Vanguard level as well

the last cod game i played was BO4. Now got MW3 in gamepass and I'm enjoying it so far. It plays pretty fun. But maybe thats because I didn't play a lot of last cods and can't compare objectively

Small Map mosh pit is always active. Has been for multiple seasons 🤦🏻‍♂️

The streaks have been so fucking anemic for so long that I can't be bothered anymore. I actually counted after I started noticing how bad swarms were. With 7 swarms, I got a total of 12 kills. Arguably one of the hardest to earn killstreaks in any CoD game ever(extremely high cost in an EOMM game with fast movement) and it's just shit. None of of my streaks do anything. The payoff is just...nothing. Playing carefully and conservative for so little a payoff is like saving up money for weeks with no fun purchases to buy a lap dance, only the lap dance ends up being someone grazing your arm half a second and walking away.

I agree that remix and tiny maps deserve their own playlist. There should also be a separate MWII playlist with more maps. However it’s just overcomplicating things by separating dlc and MW2 maps whilst reducing variety for people who want more variety

I use ranked builds in standard multiplayer, and omg they work so well cause they are no recoil and super versatile. Supressor will ruin those perfect builds
